The truck was optioned with the 3SS Preferred Equipment Group, which included Bose audio, a six-disc CD changer, heated seats, self-dimming mirrors, additional instrumentation, and running boards. Additional features include flush-mounted halogen headlights bisected by a satin-finished chevron bar as well as flush-mounted taillights, power-operated heated side mirrors, integrated body-color running boards, and dual polished exhaust tips. Silver-finished 19? front and 20? rear five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels are mounted with older Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires. The SSR was equipped from the factory with a ZQ8 sport suspension featuring an independent front and five-link solid-axle rear setup with front and rear stabilizer bars. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.The twin heated and power-adjustable high-back bucket seats are upholstered in Ebony leather. Satin chrome trim adorns the dash, center console, and door panels, and interior amenities include a color-keyed waterfall console as well as an AM/FM/CD stereo, Bose audio, a six-disc CD changer, SSR-branded floor mats, air conditioning, and cruise control. The leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames SSR-branded instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. Additional gauges displaying voltage, instantaneous engine torque, and outside air temperature are mounted in front of the gear selector. The digital odometer indicates 650 miles.The 6.0-liter LS2 V8 was factory rated at 395 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential.
